confused Rice always Error/Invalid

It's been a month or so, my computer always getting error or invalid results for the Rice projects only. No problem for other projects. But because mostly my work units come from Rice, my average point is close to 0.

I'm using
Celeron 1600MHz (no overclock)
Memory 1GB+256MB DDR2
Windows XP SP2
BOINC 6.6.36
Nutritious Rice for the World 6.17

Any explanations why this happens and how to prevent it from happening again? Coz I also have Rice project running on AMD Venice 3000+, 1GB DDR1 (the rest of specifications are the same with this one) and it works just fine. As seen on the screenshot above, I'm now running other projects other than Rice.

Thanks

Re: Rice always Error/Invalid

hmmm, plz uninstall 6.6.36 and revert to version 5.10.45. Just curious, as that is the last version this project will run without falling over in the first minute on my duo xp laptop, 2GB ram. Here's link: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/wcg_boinc_5.10.45_windows_intelx86.exe

BOINC installer should find the old data directory, else befor starting the install look in the 6.6.36 log what the location was.

Edit: Also please click on the shortest run and failed rice job Error link and post content.

Edit 2: RICE jobs are supposed to run exactly 7 hours plus the time to finish the seed underhand, so the 8:35 hours job smells like an orphaned process. Yes, one of the symptoms I've seen.
