Believe this thread should be better in Suggestion / Feedback

Re: What`s a "cruncher" then?

The original question (about a feature of the website) is neither a suggestion or a feedback and has been placed correctly by its author (don't confuse him)..

Only the most recent posts are more on a suggestion trend, but the admins don't move individual posts as far as I know (fortunately, because in the forums where I see it done it often leads to some kind of a worse disorder).

Re: What`s a "cruncher" then?

Why not just relate the designation to the amout of time the member has been a member, leave crunching out of it.

The present system does seem to be a windbag`s charter.

Yes and I'm the biggest (though this could be disputed with ease)

Re: What`s a "cruncher" then?

I would much like that "cruncher" be replaced by something more appropriate,

I would agree entirely. Perhaps "poster" would be more appropriate.

If this is a poll, I vote for that one. smile
e.g.
New Poster to 49 posts
Advanced Poster to 149
Senior Poster to 499
et cetera

Re: What`s a "cruncher" then?

I think if everyone took the time to read the forum FAQ's when they started, or used any other forums there would be no issues. I take no offense to others having more badges, or a more prestigious forum designation. I aim to one day have those myself! Crunch/Post away my friends!

Since someone seems to have started a poll, where none was requested, I have my own suggestion that I think is more appropriate:

New Aardvark to 49 posts
Advanced Aardvark to 149
Senior Aardvark to 499
etc
