How can a team captain remove non-productive members from a team? I mean members that for some unknown reason have not contributed anything.

And you never know, sometimes they come back. The latest one I have noticed in our team had stopped in September 2007!

If the member has enabled Team E-mail in his WCG profile and has given a valid e-mail address, the captain can send him an email.
Perhaps that may help you in this case. |

What's the benefit anyway? He/She is a member, but not contributing. If He/She were removed then you lose that potential contribution as well. Same result. Neither negatively impact the team in terms of statistics as I see it.

bigjohn1,
----------------------------------------Would you please delete your other thread with the same title. It's kind of you to post a "thank you" but please use "Reply to this post" to do so in the thread you are answering to. If somebody has already appended some new post after your thank you, just tell us here and we will ask the admins to remove the other thread. Cheers. Jean. |

Another important function the current forum software lacks: the ability to merge posts by forum moderators. |

Another important function the current forum software lacks: the ability to merge posts by forum moderators. I don't know if it is impossible, it is just that it is more work for the person in charge and that Community Advisors are not moderators. Jean. |
