Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Thanks OldChap. I'll try it at home where my copy of Windows is in English (not making progress on my locally purchased laptop, lol)

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Wow, this is teamwork at its best. I am tempted of asking for a bit of help myself as this would be my first diamond badge, but as of this morning, I only have 3 years 282 days on FAAH.

Can some kind soul help me a bit also?
Weak account key is 3181_ee669ef9d4773e9e9f23191569bc32c3

I am currently running only FAAH and have 4 cores so am getting almost 4 days per day on CPU time.

Thanks
Tom

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

msxfr,

Reads like your computer is running at the default of 60%. If you change the BOINC Manager to the Advanced view and in the Activity menu select 'Run Always, you'll be able to do nearly 8 days per day. With about 7 days work left, that will generate about 60 days CPU time **... enough to make it to Emerald for FA@H.

GL

Edit: ** BTW, of course this is counting in buffering up to the max. All my hosts are maxed out so have 35 tasks per core queued to the point when work supply stops. In effect that gives me about 36 hours extra at the tail end [times cores], plus whatever repairs there may still trickle through after that.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

It makes the detail -per host- stats visible on sites like BOINCStats [So the donators can see how much they gave]. WCG default is -off-.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Never done this weak key thing, but would expect the contribution also becomes visible in the guest BOINC Manager. Anyone can confirm?
