Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Wow, this is teamwork at its best. I am tempted of asking for a bit of help myself as this would be my first diamond badge, but as of this morning, I only have 3 years 282 days on FAAH.

Can some kind soul help me a bit also?
Weak account key is 3181_ee669ef9d4773e9e9f23191569bc32c3

I am currently running only FAAH and have 4 cores so am getting almost 4 days per day on CPU time.

Thanks
Tom
your 'Weak Account Key' from your Settings>profile page and ensure your default profile is set to work on FA@H

Can't promise but will see how Anne-Sophie goes...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Thanks,
Found the weak account key
3181_ee669ef9d4773e9e9f23191569bc32c3

And I have selected only FAAH

If you can, that would be great. If not, it was still a good run for me.
I'll send you some Vermont Maple Syrup from my home state!

Thanks
Tom

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Tom

Lets say there are 7 days remaining and you need 448 days. To do this in the 7 days alone would require a total of 64 cores. However, if you and your helpers had their caches full for another 7 days (instructions earlier in thread) then this would reduce your need for help to a total of 32 cores including your own.

I am happy to move mine from Anne-Sophie's account once she reaches target but I wonder...... Are there others here that would be prepared to help?

Let's see if you get a response otherwise I'll be along later wink

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

All of you other Badge Hunters.... If your attempt might fall short by a number of days even if you maximise your cache then now is the time to post your current total together with the number of threads you have running..... and of course your weak key. The profile you are running that only has FA@H will be seen in "device manager" if you click on that device profile whether it be work, school, default or home then center top is a box that needs to be checked to "set as default"

Then you must hope for a kind soul who offers you some helpful cores

Thanks, but if we free up some cores to assist, we operate a system known as 'Pay it Forward' where, any assistance you receive is then donated at some other time to someone else in need. The end result is helping the project and those in need of the extra help/days.

No one expects you to donate as many days as myself or OC, just whatever you can... no one's keeping count!

While the Maple syrup would be appreciated, Pay it forward works well...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Great concept. I will keep that in mind when I have some time that I can donate back.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Had a little bit of extra drama...
My 8-core xu3 lite stopped working and requested password to decrypt storage - but I've never set an encryption password or told android to do so.
No chance to pass by. So I set up the device using emmc as the microSD-card before.
Now it's up and running again.

Anne-Sophie:

First 64 on now next 32 brought forward to about 7-8 hours from now

First wu's should complete about now

Would you mind going to the page where you found your weak account key and a little further down the page check the box for Show Hosts:

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

I'd like to contribute some machines to the cause. An internet search shows if I change a specific file in my Linux box I can have it contribute by plugging in the weak account key. That is good but that is only 4 cores. Is there a way to have my Windows PCs or smartphone contribute with only knowing the weak account key?
