Sek,
Because you had confirmed instances of the issue of truncated result files we target 2 results at each of your computers. Hence the 'resent lost results'. thanks, Kevin |

Okay thanks, had to increase the cache before the fetch happened, the lappie got them, plus 1 extra. I'll front them to the queue, suspend/release

Sekerob,
How much did you have to increase your cache to to get some of the work units? I would like to pick up a few of these betas (as it sounds like there will be a lot) & was wondering what setup would help guide them my way. Thanks |

Hello Greg Lyke,
You are misunderstanding. The server reserved several workunits for Sekerob. His cache was full, so he expanded it a bit to make room to receive them. A day or less would have done the trick. The rest of us do not have any specially-reserved work units. Lawrence |

To force a request I just increase the cache in 0.1 day increments, until the scheduler kicks up (see project tab). This 0.1 days on a duo equals 24*.1*2 = 4.8 hours of work, which was on the second increase enough to get a few plus some regular work, which included the 2 pointed to this device.

First ones just finished up. Looks like no problems on this end.

Sekerob,
Thanks, I thought it was something like that. Hopefully some will drift my way as well. Happy crunching... |

I don't know what the expected run time of these WU's were, the ones I got were all over the place - from around 30m to over 5hrs. But there were no monster WU's present. Though if any tecs want to send me a few 200hr Beta WU's I won't mind.
