It looks like I ran a couple successfully, then got a download error on one. The download error persisted, even after reboot, so I aborted it. I'm not sure whether this is a beta test issue, or a general (but presumably rare) problem.
I will be happy to retest other betas, other projects, or even the same workunit again if you can resend it to me. If I don't get other instructions, I will probably begin retrying tasks for wcg in a day or two. Don't worry, you just had a bad bit coming along. Someone else will do the task. Meantime, 7500 beta results validated yesterday, so cant say there's a systemic problem. All other projects and total grid production was nominal too, heading for a record week.
----------------------------------------BTW -197 is the error code for task Abort.

There seems to be a slight problem here. I've had a production WU bomb out similarly:

I'm looking into this one now. We resubmitted some of the 'linux monsters' now that 6.14 has been released to production. Something went wrong with the loading and they errored out.

I got three of these on an I7 920 running Ubuntu 9.04 under 6.14. In all cases 5 other people got an error on this WU. I have had many other successes on this machine.
