Re: Work units coming

The 1 major to know and platform specific is HPF2 on some Vista clients and much less RICE (on my XP duo it always falls over after 1 minute). Both run perfectly fine with the 5.10.45 client, maybe because the graphics part is then disabled since the version 6 graphics part only are not backward compatible and disabled. It's unknown though what the real reason is, which is why there's looking for an automated "do not send this project to that device".

HPF2 does work for me since version 6.6.10 on Vista, but not for some others who tested this specific bombing within the first minutes of starting.

Re: Work units coming

FWIW I run 6.4.7 on a Win7 RC 64 bit and HPF2 runs without a hitch.

Re: Work units coming

If you want CEP WU's, then select CEP solely on your device profile. I have received some WU's from this project, however
I also have HCMD2 selected as well. If you only have CEP selected and this is still the situation, just accept it as the current
CEP distribution WU status.

confused Re: Work units coming

Why am I not getting any? I got one when it was first introduced but since then zilch! I have my profile set to do all projects because I reckon they are all worthy causes, so why no CEP?

Re: Work units coming

You gave yourself the answer. CEP is (s)low weight, because it eats zillion resources on server side, thus the limited work, seems there are 6000-6500 put out daily currently, are snapped up by those who run a more focussed My Projects profile. See crunching chart thread to know the current supply info.
