flu10101e0261_100326 is a single redundancy work unit that has been pending validation for 15 hours.

Same here. I have at least 5 WUs stuck on Pending Validation.

Assume this is normal unless told otherwise (and you don't need to report it, because the techs can monitor these things).

I know how you feel, all the tasks i've had so far have been one of two copies and i've had to wait for the other copy to return, most of the time. pete. |

in the past i have had many units get stuck on pending validation
----------------------------------------if it lasts more than a week on a work unit you might start questioning but it happens alot of times for a day or 2  |

There are 'wrong place wrong nano-second time' moments where the validation flag somehow does not get set. Periodically the techs will clear them, such as when it becomes time to move batches out to the assimilator into the master database. Latter is the final store at the side of WCG from which the scientist get the completed sets of result.

I'm having difficulty believing that a task that has now been pending validation for 36 hours is normal. I have had WU remain as PV for over 9 days before they get validated. Of course I have to eat my words as I have a WU with 1 replication that is PV for a week. I have learned my lesson.
