Cannot stop screen saver

Hope you can help.

When the influenza screen saver has run for a while I am unable to get back into my system - windows xp. If I press escape or CTRL ALT Delete it stops the graphic spinning for while but the display stays as the screensaver and I end up having to reboot my machine.

Any idea of what I should look for ??

Thanks

Kevin ....

Re: Cannot stop screen saver

Hi,

I made a mental note about a peculiarity of the BOINC screensaver that I recently read on the BOINC developers forum or there about's... a still persisting bug in the BOINC SS. For now, for those having the problem it's best to switch to the 'blank' screensaver, with password of course. If I stumble on the thread again, I'll x-link it to this forum.

sorry
