I can't open WCGrid site from Apple Safari internet browser. Does anyone know the reason or solution for this problem? Thanks. |

Works great here as long as I don't login... once I enter my name/pw then click Sign In I get Safari can’t open the page. Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/index”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page. even if I (re)paste in the full URL (e.g. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=25547 for this thread) directly to Safari's address bar. |

and https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/j_security_chk_wrapper are part of the loop it gets stuck in, too. |

Safari is non-complaint with acceptable use of redirects. I strongly encourage you to report this as a bug to apple.

Safari is non-complaint with acceptable use of redirects. I strongly encourage you to report this as a bug to apple. More information is available here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/printpost?post=224927 I've now done so... using the little 'bug' button located in the upper-right corner of the browser (I have ''4 Public Beta 528.16'' - should also be a 'report bugs' menu item under the 'gear' icon of other versions). I'll wager the more reports it gets the faster it will get fixed, though.  |

More information is available here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/printpost?post=224927 It was looping around 3 or 4 times before giving that message, but while I was setting up to do a 7-second AVI capture (to show that contrary to the info in that post it was indeed looping more than once) with my Canon, it quit getting stuck in the loop and logged me in. :-| |
