Congrats to Harreld and his GOLD badge!  Nice crunchin... Way to go Harreld!!  thanx you all!  I also don't abort any WU before starting a new project, because I'm doing this mainly for the science. Earning badges is a nice extra feature however and makes it more fun and also more interesting about what's living on the fora. Now my next goal is 10 years CPU-time IADS. Guestimate: around 45 days... When no monster Beta-WU's will eat up 100's of CPU-runtime hours and no new project will start. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 8, 2009 6:42:55 AM] |

ok, without changing any ques i also have done my first IADS WU's:
Influenza Antiviral Drug Search - 30,678 - 51 - 0:014:16:08:57 These stats are for the team, but 99% of all ~130 devices in the team are admin by me, just seperated in different user accounts. Lets see when my team can reach the 1 year CPU-time. |

mclaver, well done for refusing to succumb to temptation and aborting WU's. Okay, you might have started the "race" slightly behind the others, although you've got a clear conscience  I finished my first IADS WU about 48 hours ago and am now at 26 days. More of my machines have "turned" so I have a chance of silver by tonite. After 72 hours, due to my queueing, most of my other machines will turn and be dedicated to IADS. Gold should only be 24 hours away once everyone "turns". My goals are less lofty than Harreld's 10 years. I will dedicated to IADS unitl I get to three years when I catch up to DDDT, HFCC and CEP. As IADS catches up to those, I will accept work units for them again. I do not discriminate. I try to share equally! The only thing that could change this plan, is the addition of another project, which I expect is not to far off, based on some of the Beta units I have received. I sure wish WCG would have a project that supports CUDA. I get almost as much BOINC credit on GPUGRID for one GTX 260, as I do for 19 computrs dedicated to WCG.
