The first 3 validated fine and got 9 more to replace them. These short Beta WU's are kind of fun...

Wow, this Beta has very many WUs available.. I got 17 (!) now. Excited for bronze Beta badge ![]() If you need only another day or so you should make it, then... all the beta WUs fetched here estimate at 1:29, though they don't seem to be going quite that fast. |

Actually 29 hours missing. So you are right - it is tight.

I got around 20 of them. My i7 is taking 45-60 minutes to crunch each one. Doing 8 at a time should finish them off in a few hours.

Is this just windows, or does it include Linux or OSX?

Three of my four computers received a few of these today. With the exception of one w.u. that my old P4 Northwood crunched, they are taking from slightly less than .5 to slightly more than .75 hours on a QX6700 and a Q6700 @ 3.5GHz and 3.6GHz.
----------------------------------------The 3.4GHz P4 took 2.06 hours. It has hyperthreading enabled and was crunching a "rice" work unit along with the Beta. These short work units are kinda neat. ![]() ![]() |

Is this just windows, or does it include Linux or OSX? OSX is included as I have a WU sitting on my iMac waiting to run. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 5, 2009 2:01:11 AM] |

I got around 20 of them. My i7 is taking 45-60 minutes to crunch each one. Doing 8 at a time should finish them off in a few hours. Steve I just completed 85 of them so far today. They were all sent on 5/4 UTC with less than 24 hours to deadline, and they all processed in around an hour. This will help becasue I am still 30 days away from a silver for beta. - Mitch ![]() ![]() ![]() |

one of the Betas I received last night has failed:
----------------------------------------BETA_ flu10101a0001_ 101468_ 2-- Aborted 04.05.09 23:12:57 05.05.09 02:38:34 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 Status page says the WU was Aborted altough I did not touch the computer for days. I did not abort it, unfortunately I can not check the logfile on the computer to see what happened because it is located ~500KM away from where I am. The WU was send out 4 times, 2 times it is Valid, 2 times it is Aborted. Result log is empty: <core_client_version>6.6.20</core_client_version> All other Betas on that computer went well.
