Yeah, to be honest, I prefer to stay in the BOINC Universe as I think there's more community there. That said, I like the fact that Stanford gets so much of their stuff published and gets lots of attention as a result.


Yes, if they were BOINC I'd be there in a heartbeat. They do seem to have a NIH (not invented here) attitude and Berkely is a rival.

My load test shows one card that use to run at 68-71C before it had "electroshock therapy" is now running at 81F sad I'm going to set it back to original clock speed.


I understand the Berkeley Stanford thing because the same would happen if it was Harvard and Yale. It's pathetic, but rivalries are an unfortunate fact of life... Although in retrospect, Harvard-Yale isn't really so much a rivalry, as centuries of Harvard-dominance.
