Hey Blizzie, am running FAH until GPUGRID comes back online. It works well. 260 GTX blazes work units like Jamaicans on a friday night.

I've shut most of them down. The cards are running at almost 50C doing nothing and that heat is from electrons.
---------------------------------------- The buzz at extream systems and some other boards is they will be back up Tuesday. I don't know how reliable that is. Nice of them to give us some advanced warning, eh? Well, at least I will save some electricity.  Bummer day.   |

I can't Fold.... My card gives a high pitched squeal. My card TEARS through F@H units. My CPU isn't strained at all. Even with the CPU throttled all the way up, with F@H none of the cores exceeds 40C whereas on WCG or QMC they're all at about 55C. Idle is 28C. |

And you can run GPU only if you want so you could put your CPUs wherever you wanted them. |

Also, WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THE WORK UNITS WE HAVE TO REPORT AS FINISHED ON GPUGRID!?!?!?!?! So now I run WCG @ BOINC and F@H GPU Client together. Interesting combination. |

Also, WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THE WORK UNITS WE HAVE TO REPORT AS FINISHED ON GPUGRID!?!?!?!?! Without human interventionn they will be marked as too late. I have ~132 hours that will be lost. The amperage going into the coils or the capacitors make it give off a high pitched squeal. It's normal. Some people have cards that squeal, some don't. I think my C2D at home crashed or something... it hasn't sent back WCG work units since hte 11th..... |
