confused HELP:Breakdown whenever view graphic!

What a pity! I cannot view the graphics! When I click on view graphic, the computer halt and I have to restart. Reinstall doesn't work. I don't know what's wrong, how can I solve this problem?
Both version 6.2.8 and 6.4.7 I have tried.
It works normally before I reinstalled my system(Windows XP). So I don't think it is a hardware risk.

Re: HELP:Breakdown whenever view graphic!

guoyeah, my first suspicion is that you have a driver problem. What graphics drivers are you using?

BOINC uses OpenGL, which isn't used much by Windows any more. Make sure you are using the digitally signed, tested drivers for the correct graphics card - and do tell us your graphics details, too.

sad Re: HELP:Breakdown whenever view graphic!

Thank you for your reply!
I once doubted that it was the graphics card driver problem, but I have tried both the default system version which was able to function properly before I reinstalled the OS, and the newest version of the driver program, but it doesn't work. Maybe there are something wrong with my newly reinstalled OS, but I really don't want to reinstall it again, it is so troublesome! So do you have any other way to solve it?
My graphic: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family (256M)
Driver version: 6.14.10.5029 offical version
