Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Been to the garden center and bought more pots. Off to find more plants for those pots.

And a screw with no end ...
You will like to hear that my upstairs neighbor and I went plant buying today.
Were cautious myself today, but - oh, I feel that deep down - it will not last!
I'll be back and do the pots-plants-pots-plants-pots ... routine soon.
Bought one stemmed solanum - blue - and 5 impatiens - white - to go around its leg in that pot which housed the very dead juniper.
You told me to put something pretty there. I think it will be.
Will make a picture when they - hopefully - take hold.
Not a stripie, though. Also bought a tomato plant. Mean to buy herbs as well. They had "open house". Lots of people.
Will go next week for peace and quiet to check it out thoroughly.
They had a lot!

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Sport, I'm nowhere NEAR the top. Goddesses are a dime a dozen these days!

I'm in the mood for scented geraniums and can't find any. Saw mint and parsley, but not what I really wanted. Will try another garden center tomorrow now that I know I have the containers I want.

The Persian Shield is gorgeous. Lovely shades of purple that shines like an insect's wing.

I might "need" some more geraniums. They're so pretty!

Very exotic plants. Not the parsley, but Persian Shield and scented geraniums.
I would like to see some pictures of your garden, if you want to show us.
I think the Edwardians would say you're darned (they would say "darned" here, I think) close to be a gardener.

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Den is a fellow cruncher from back in the old days!

I don't have a garden so much as a collection of potted plants. But they're multiplying...
