Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Eating out of the cupboard as there's no money to restock until next month. Makes some meals a surprise!

Tho' I can switch you to tea if you really need caffeine.

Love you, GP
Teine is NOT caffeine - tastes OK occasionally but doesn't make your hair stand up.
devilish
Sorry to hear about your money - or lack of.
Don't eat the new plants, though.
Almost makes me embarrassed for the trolley full of foodstuff (and G&T) I hauled home from the market this morning.
Yes, walked. Saves gas. They had aspargus. Bought ground meat and bacon for some sort of meatloaf.
Their carrots were almost a give-away. 2 kilos (nearly 5 pounds) for under one US$.
And black bread. I live in the Black Bread Belt. I crave it. I still get flash-backs of Wonderbread. Aaarghhhh ...
Sometimes it's fun to make meals from what the fridge and cupboards hold, but
- I guess - mainly if you decide to do it yourself.

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Would you like to share my meal, GP?
The meatloaves (or loafs?) are in the oven wrapped in bacon.
Going to dice a lot of carrots and fry them in olive oil with coriander.
Then we shall have the aspargus.
No potatoes although I have new ones from Majorca.
Bread, any bread but wonder.
Are you tempted?

It's been a busy day.
Nice to put your feet up.
Do you take milk, sugar or cream with your coffee?

Dinner looked good!

There's a new trek at Base Camp. Not setting us up for anything here until some of the Base Camp treks are done around 15 May.

Tasted better than it looked, GP. Carrots got kind of blackened, but were not hurt; neither was the pot.
Get distracted easily, me. Not good when playing cook.
Actually, I hadn't prepared that decent a meal for weeks on end.

Royden: feel up to a GPU Challenge?

Outpost is gearing up for an assault on U.S.Air Force's Collatz team...any one interested let me know and I'll set the specifics
but U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture appears to be the target from 5/1 until 5/15 or so
