On the other front I will be going into summer mode earlier than I wanted to. The workstations will finish their work loads then go into hibernation.

There are a little too many things getting at you these days, aren't there sujo1?
How are your dogs? What kind of meds did the vet give them? How do they respond to the meds? Oh, your team will be complete again very soon. Doneske will be a laggard, tho' I can see this was a poor time to borrow them  sorry about that All will be good again  I think stefada has plans for the crew. A meal? A French baberque? I have the same problem sujo1, it's unseasonable warm here so i have been suspending boinc during the heat of the day. If it keeps this up we are going to have a very long fire season.  |

There are a few things going on but, I will be ok on all fronts.
---------------------------------------- The dogs are doing better. (I think) At least they are not loosing any more fur. They only take 3 meds now. I have no Idea What they are, Susie takes care of that. All I do know is that the little hotdog chunks work very well. They have to take a bath every other day with a medicated shampoo. They are taking the meds with no side affects. There is no problem with them going, I just like to have a little cheese with my whine once in a while. |

If it keeps this up we are going to have a very long fire season. I hope you're not in harms/fires way if that happens. Are you, TLD? |

I have the same problem sujo1, it's unseasonable warm here so i have been suspending boinc during the heat of the day. If it keeps this up we are going to have a very long fire season. Mine is the cost factor, my ceiling is $10.00 and I am running at $11.00 I will still have 2 lappies,1 desktop and assorted androids running. I have another desktop that needs a psu and another laptop that needs a cooling fan. So after the long heat will be looking good. The 2 workstations burn about $2.30 a day so that will bring me below my threshhold.(I hope) I really don't understand how you all run all that power. It would break my bank account.  We are in a semi permenant burn ban here so the fire season is rather all the time. |

Are you, TLD?We haven't had a fire close to us as long as i have been alive but if the wind is blowing the wrong direction the smoke can get bad, and i have COPD so that can be a problem. |

That would be a problem for breathing. Have you tried that? Will you be able to move 'upwind' if it happens? From which direction does your prevailing wind come? Ours is westerly. |

Our wind is westerly too. and living relatively close to the Pacific ocean (about 40 miles away) there have not been any forest fires between my house and the ocean.
----------------------------------------I live in the Chehalis River Valley, the river floods often in winter it is around 30 to 60 feet wide in the summer but can get several miles wide in the winter i live to the north of the river, north of me is a forest covered hill with part of the town i live in on top and south is more town and then farmers fields and the river, so little danger of a forest fire burning my house, The Pacific ocean has a cold current here so the westerly wind is cool ( it's called natures air conditioner here). It keeps us cool in the summer and mild in the winter. However when the wind is easterly that is when we get our very hot and very cold weather the eastern part of Washington is basically a desert due to the Cascade mountains so wind coming from there is usually unpleasantly hot or cold, |
