I just received an email from WCG asking me to complete the installation for a computer that's been running for ~2 weeks. I guess the problem arose after the HDD died on March 18th, I replaced it, did a clean O/S install, and downloaded the WCG program again. I couldn't remember what "name" I had used for the old computer (HDD), and when I guessed, I got a message saying the name was being used or not valid (something like that). I just made up another one and everything appeared fine.
Now your site statistics list 5 computers and I only have 4. How do I fix this without losing the points generated by the computer either before or after installing the new HDD?? |

Idle / redundant devices that have not returned results for some time will automatically disappear from the active device list. They can though be made visible again by changing the device filter selection.

So, based on your response I will just disregard the WCG email.
