dvlrnr, that's not a helpful comment.
These days, IE is no worse and no better than the other browsers available. Now FireFox has such a large market share, it is vulnerable to the same targeting that IE is. The biggest criticism I have seen of IE 8 so far is "some early adopters are finding that IE8 will not display some Web pages accurately. Users who fail to select IE8's Compatibility View option are bound to be disappointed when viewing Web pages incompatible with the latest Web publishing standards." That's a good thing. (Yes, I stopped using FireFox last year. Too unstable....) Sure, criticise IE if you have something to criticise it for. But don't criticise it without justification. |
