Getting the error: No Work Available to Process
I'm using it for the help conquer cancer project via wwg. Anyone else having this problem? I tried updating to the latest BOINC client, but that didn't help. Can't imagine that they are out of "work" to do...? thanks, damon |

It's probably a good idea to post the content of your Messages tab.

Seeing something similar. Here are the messages I get:

Hi, Incomitatus.
Have a look at time_stats_log and see if there are any anomalies. |

The problem has been solved. The answer I found was to completely uninstall the application (delete everything, even if it means you lose work units)and then reinstall it. The problem seemed to appear after a version
upgrade when the log and work files become corrupted. Another thing, I would recommend installing the entire application on the same drive. After I reinstalled the application new project units came flooding onto my computer. |

There was discussion today on the very same error:
----------------------------------------Message from server: (won't finish in time) Computer on 97.5% of time, BOINC on 6.1% of that If your computer is on all day, and you buffer up or have even 1 work unit in progress that is not going to meet deadline due 6% on, it can be simply restored by letting BOINC actually run all the time the computer is on. Simply exiting BOINC, deleting the client_state xxxxx.xml files and restarting BOINC would also have achieved the full correction too. It's academic now since it's done and you're running again. Having the data and the software on the same logical drive has really zero relevance. The data_dir can be anywhere, as long as it is on the same physical systems of middle of the road set up. happy crunching
