I am running Boinc as a service on a friends WinXP PRO SP3 32bit machine, the reason I am doing that is, they have created their own user accounts for themselves, and I wanted the app to continue working for everyone, 1 of my questions is, when everyone is logged out of their profiles, and xp is at the welcome screen, does Boinc agent still run?, my understanding is that it will, because it is running as a service, but I have noticed that I am still getting no reply's from that machine, and I know they leave it on 24/7

If someone could explain to me more on how it works as a service I would appreciate it
