Linux anyone?

I'm quite new here, but thought I'd throw this out there...

Where's the linux client?

I have a redhat server farm just waiting to stop seti and start doing something a little more worthwhile like scanning the human genome!

Re: Linux anyone?

Sorry for wasting your time.

Re: Linux anyone?

crying Add me to the list of folks requesting Linux. I could add 6 to 8 machines to the mix if there was a client available.

Re: Linux anyone?

I would bet it is available before ThanksGiving although they have said nothing other than it will be available in 2005.

Re: Linux anyone?

curious if anyone's gotten this to work using WINE yet? i've been able to run the ud/grid.org version this way(more or less the same project) for a few months...thought i'd try the wcg version this way. not sure what's wrong...i was able to install and run it the same way, but it's unable to download anything...was wondering if those that tried it with WINE had the same trouble?

here's a screenshot using the ud version. i then uninstalled and tried the wcg version...here. it sat like that for a little while... i tried restarting, and each time i did so, it asked me to reregister... confused mostly curious to see how this runs compared to other projects i've tried...and maybe this'll give the linux gurus something to try (if they haven't already) while they wait for the real linux client.

I would suggest that you open a thread with this question over in the "Member-to-Member Support" forum. It will get better visability there I think.
Best Regards,
