Didactylos,
I have setup the proxy settings using the GUI interface and from the file client_state.xml I can see the tags <http_user_name> and <http_user_password> populated with the given username and password. From the logfile the software is being authenticating with the proxy as the cookie is being set. Regards Kenneth |

The cookie has nothing to do with the success of the authentication. Unfortunately, instead of issuing an appropriate failure message, your proxy is trying to redirect the request to a page whether you can authenticate. Obviously, this is failing.
