Hello,
How distressing ! My Pc has has rattled on for 1 day of processing without result (so says the congratulatory email). What a shame. Here are the log messages from the BOINC manager. what happened? the only thing I did was reduce the CPU available . Hello james waddell,
The Messages tab just shows 2 minutes restarting crunching HCC. The peculiar thing is that it could not complete the benchmark. The other peculiar thing is that you have a preferences override file on your computer, so you will not use the preferences on the web site. This is potentially confusing so I suggest that you bring up BOINC Manager and select Advanced - Preferences - Clear to eliminate the local preferences file. What does My Grid - Results Status say about your results? Lawrence |

Hello Lawrence
I have cleared the local preferences file and aborted an overdue dengue task. The waiting Nutritious Rice package has started. I will tell you how it goes .. Thanks for your help |

Few more notes:
----------------------------------------Manually rerun the Benchmark from the advanced menu. Usually it will complete, just that the system must have been very busy. If the benchmark does not complete, the client cannot compute a credit claim. The memory limitation of 27/02/2009 22:40:27||Preferences limit memory usage when active to 179.06MB will cause at times for 1 of more sciences such as DDDT to pause reporting a "waiting for memory". Suggest to increase to 50% (450 mb) when system is active. Users ever needing the remaining 450 mb is rare.
