Well, from own observation on 2 people who were solid smokers till catching a bad influenza, ... their first ciggy afterwards cured them permanently from the addiction alright

My wife stopped smoking after, leaving Argentina to come to Belgium, and having here some 4 bronchitisses a year. That was some 25 years ago. Now she is going fine ....

I just had a bet with a friend of mine. She started smoking at the age of 15 (now, she's 25) and wasn't able to stop. I got her by offering her a bet that she wasn't able to quit smoking for one month. She won the bet and after that month, she realized how much money she saved during that time and didn't start to smoke again, so far.
----------------------------------------Usually, it's more easy to convince women to stop smoking than men because you can target their sense for beauty. Once my ex-girlfriend and I were surfing the net, when I repeatedly stumbled upon websites showing pictures of smoker's legs "by chance" "What is this???" - "Oh, nothing... just smoker's legs." - "Smoker's legs??" "Yes... that's what it looks like if you continue smoking and have bad luck." Mission accomplished - she stopped smoking a few days later ![]() ![]() |
