I received only 3 work units for the clean energy project from start of this project to this day.
 Does anyone have a same problem ? |

Everyone is the same, run out of current work.
----------------------------------------Greetings all, We have temporarily run out of type A work units for The Clean Energy Project phase 1. We are currently working on getting the type B work units for the batches that have been run on World Community Grid. Some of these type B work units may be going through BETA first. This is to double check they create proper results before running. Thank you for helping with The Clean Energy Project! Any suggestions wether to uncheck or not .. Hi JP. I've left mine checked so that I can get right back into it again when the type B WUs start to get issued, as I have a gold badge to aim for. Also, since the units ran out I've picked up a CEP WU which was one that was reissued either due to an error, inconclusive result or due to not being returned within the allowed timeframe. If there's no work for it then it won't hurt to leave it checked, provided you either have other projects checked and/or the "If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project" option selected. |

Everyone is the same, run out of current work. I don't think so. I see that thread before but that is not (only) problem. Look yourself for example, you have a silver badge for clean energy project. That means that you got more than 3 work units. Right ? I got only 3 Wu from start of that project. Something is very bad with this project.  |

Where does it suggest that 3 WU equals Silver? A project task's mean run time is about 14 hours. For Silver you need to complete 1080 hours of TCEP work.

Hi Adriano,
----------------------------------------This project has been running at a lower priority than the other projects and if you have "All Projects" checked in your profile it is not surprising that you did not get many WUs. The people who did achieve badges, I think, for the most part were running CEP exclusively. It is good to see that they are doing additional testing before releasing the next set of batches as the first set had many problems. I think it is also good that the first batch got processed as quickly as it did, anf it sounds like there will be many more to come. The current estimate is that we will not finish crunching until December 2010. I look forward to seeing you achieve badges when WUs start getting distributed again. The other people who posted in this thread have lots of time in WCG, with lots of results (I think they also have very good machines and lots of them), the people like you and I who are just starting and don't have the best machines (or lots of slow ones) will just have to be patient :-) Steve [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 20, 2009 9:42:58 PM] |

For Silver you need to complete 1080 hours of TCEP work That is what im talking about BUT i got only 3 WU's so it's not same for everybody like you said. It is not about 1st phase completed.  [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 21, 2009 3:52:52 AM] |
