Just got back from having my 'flu jab! My word, they have got that procedure down to almost perfection!! Barely time to sit down and see who is there (?) (that's just me and any other nosy ones!); all done alphabetically, and very smoothly; no time for any chats, so forget that one! Very good with the needle too - barely felt it and can't feel anything now I am home. Mind you, I guess it must be a bit 'scary' - a whole waiting room full of oldies! Mind you, they were all extremely very well behaved today - nobody even talking loudly! You will no doubt be pleased know that I behaved myself impeccably too. So might as well go and put my feet up now - just in case I have any reactions to the "needle". (Any excuse will do!!).

Missus & I had ours last Friday.
No ill effects just as you described Merle barely time to sit and chat.

Ditto here, last Friday afternoon, in and out within minutes and the most painful bit is pulling the plaster off later.

Thanks for the tip Den, there's a copper pipe shielded by what looks like plastic pipe that protudes about 2in down the outside wall, is this what you mean?
