Hi Tony ......
----------------------------------------Dunno ? correct or should we say PC I had always been between Jews /Jaws Harp not ever come across juice harp ..... Wikkie says this " The jaw harp, Jew's harp, mouth harp, Ozark harp, trump , juice harp, space harp,Pikon/Pikonane or Chung is thought to be one of the oldest musical instruments in the world;[1] a musician apparently playing it can be seen in a Chinese drawing from the 4th century BC.[2] Despite its common English name, and the sometimes used Jew's trump, it has no particular connection with the Jewish people. This instrument is native to Asia and used in all tribes of Turkic peoples in Asia where it is variously referred to as a temir komuz (literally, iron komuz), agiz komuzu (literally, mouth komuz) " I used to sell them they come in loadsa sizes mayhap juice cause they make you dribble so thats about right for our thread "Masters of The Edwardians A Worldwide Team Of Friends. For owld Sage and his run ashore tonight
---------------------------------------- Oh lord above, send down a dove with beak as sharp as razors, To cut the throats of them there blokes what sells bad beer to I know it doesn't rhyme properly but as Tony wasnt a Jolly Jack Tar needs must ****************************** I'm always in awe of The female of the species . Always being right, knowing what you've done wrong even when you haven't a clue, Multi tasking and so on. I was privileged to witness the multi tasking part this Saturday afternoon. In light traffic heading towards Sainsbuggers were a couple in a car, It being a hot day they had the windows down chatting to each other while eating a tub of Ice cream one each thats tub spoon & steering wheel . The Lady driver was most probably also texting with her feet as just doing two things at once cant really be called MULTI tasking but I wouldn't want to exaggerate in any way . Hats of to those skills that I will never achieve. As for Me ? I'm a mere Bloke . ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Jul 23, 2011 3:15:53 PM] |

I had a feeling that "the boy" had taken his 'instrument' with him, but then I might be wrong (I seem to be wrong about most things these days!). He usually takes it everywhere with him, though.
---------------------------------------- ![]() Just had a look on John's page, and in most of the photos it looks like his 'instrument' is welded to his hand, so I really can't imagine he would not have taken it! He may surprise us, and answer this himself - I bet he is keeping an eye on us all! Watch this space! ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 23, 2011 3:14:45 PM] |

Evening all
Overcast for most of the day and I felt a bit weary first thing and didn't battle the transport and queue for another day at Lord's. Perhaps another night's sleep will encourage me to get cracking tomorrow morning. |
