BTW Mermaid, I can see the photos; it is only the "little" piccies and things that Den posts that I can't see!

How about one of you "Techies" writing me a short paragraph on how to open the piccies, etc. etc. that at the moment I have to just to gaze at and imagine what you have sent? Or else get Den to send them all, 'cos it seems I can open anything he sends.
That's it - I am going to leave this machine alone now to cool down. See you 'alter' (that's another word in the Team vocabulary!). PS: Do wish my lovely little Alfie had not gone home - I really feel like having a cuddle with him - guess I will have to wait now until next Saturday. Got a big family 'do' then to celebrate my daughter's big birthday! ![]() |

Sleep tight, Merle
The pictures shall not be "opened". They will just come up without you clicking when you have had the chance to say "No" to the dialogue asking you about if you want to show "unsafe" contents when you open a Forum page. The paragraph you wish for must be made by a "Techie" of English computer ownership. I cannot do it, because mine speaks Danish, and besides I need to sit next to the animal when doing "Settings" and stuff. |

20th July 1969
----------------------------------------![]() ![]() ![]() In 1969 I watched Tv pictures from the moon took a photo of the screen then went outside and took a picture of the moon There were men standing on the moon Millions of people were transfixed with the event I know I was. I also know the pictures are complete rubbish technically but I took them in a dark field in Rye East Sussex with a fixed lens 120 roll film camera Witness to an historic event .... The larger Moon shot was taken some years later with a big long lens no photo shop it filled the 35mm frame hard thing is tracking the moon as it moves across the night sky its clearer But I like my 1969 photos the best One thing I had forgotten the tv was 405 line and of course mono chrome B&W the better quality 625 tvs were only just coming in to use around 1969 when BBC2 colour came along . http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6007/5919255240_5ed29d5604.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6027/5918748476_8e998500c0.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6007/5919255240_5ed29d5604.jpg ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Jul 20, 2011 9:01:24 AM] |
