Was that an earthquake I just felt, or was it Merle falling off her chair with shock, horror? first at seeing her photo and then reading Dens confession of his devine love, loyalty and admiration; biggrin

Having seen 'that' photograph for the first time I was amazed that in my minds eye you were all as I thought you would be;
Merle not a sweet little old lady sitting in an armchair with her knitting, Nay,but a very smart professional lady who stands for no nonsense, but secretly as soft as ducks down and as sweet as apple pie and custard ! wink

As for the guys .......... correct me if I'm wrong but I did once describe you all as Don Quix'ote !! but maybe 'Last of the Summer Wine' would be more apt!! biggrin

Been looking back in threads
this one some may remember of Merle on Holiday in the land of the Maple leaf .
