Re: Re:

Asked Google translate: Gave me: "Pendle hekse (heks is witch/hekse = more than one)" which did not help much.
Clicked for their alternative translations.
"Pendle" stayed pendle.
For "hekse" Google suggested substituting "kønsopererede hekse"
Excuse me!
That means "sex change operated witches"
Gimme a break, Google, your brain is boiling over; thought you were family friendly
... and, no, you were absolutely not helpful this time.
Densnaps, are we talking witches travelling to Bocken, Harz, Germany? They have time off until June 23.
@ Merle: Hope your headache cleared.

Re: Re:

It was google translator, I used, densnaps.
A regular googling brings me to, well, scary stuff that - to tell the truth is not easy for me to understand having not grown up with such myths.
I think we keep it simpler here. On midsummer witches are burnt on the bonfires and takes off for Germany riding brooms of birch twigs .

Re: Re:

Evening all

Evening all, yet another summery day although I managed to skin my shins falling off a short set of steps when trying to check out the attic prior to a council visit on Tuesday to assess the insulation needs which then can then provide without cost.
The problem then follows (as previously) that the large waggon with the pressure hose cannot find a parking space near enough.
Last year they just suggested that I put bins or something to hold a parking space for up to a week. Fat chance - for a day it would probably work, for days people would just move the bins or whatever were supposed to keep the space clear.
