Re: Re:

Yet another really hot day, with sun shining and not a cloud in the sky! Going to sit outside to have my (very late) morning coffee - probably get a tan if I am out there long. Just got back from the supermarket (Waitrose) and it was pretty busy but no problems (never is there) - staff so well trained and so relaxed, no-one throws a wobbly there, ever!!

Hope you all enjoy your weekend. I'm off to Daughter and family tomorrow (getting a lift from my son-in-law's parents) so if this weather continues it will be the whole afternoon and evening in the garden I reckon!

Be good, and if you can't be good, be careful!! wink devilish

Re: Re:

Evening all

Another very warm day here but I've just heard the first rumbles of thunder and the sky is getting darker. However, the garden could do with a good downpour.

No family meetings here; Daughter No 1 is by the Everglades and No 2 in North Yorkshire; different tastes clearly.

Re: Re:

Good morning all smile Woke up with a thundering headache - wouldn't mind if there was a good reason, but not a 'drop' passed my lips yesterday! confused Not raining yet, so I am about to go on my morning walk, and hope the fresh air will 'perk' me up. Have a good day everyone and may the sun shine on you. wink smile

Fixing outside tap that got frozen in the cold spel, tap was fine it was the exposed pipe work. Replacing the plastic "quickfit" conectors with proper copper ones as the frost forced a couple of them "not to connect".
The refurbish has ended up with an extension of pipework to front of house so I am not dragging hoses about just plug them in to the tap Just hope the Government don't introduce a Tap Tax wink

Have hacked back a berberris hedge now have more light in that corner of garden smile
but now also have large mound of twigs sad green bin is full will have to drag the shredder out from under the bench . hope its not seized up .
