Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Evening all

No rain here either although it threatened a few times. Mild too for my weekly supermarket walk and, once there, I spent more than usual making use of the 25% discount on booze and then buying Jamie's latest book for her indoors.

Haven't heard any fireworks here yet but I would guess that this weekend will change that although Sainsbury's was offering a discount on its large ones so maybe demand has been affected by the thought of harder times to come.

Cooled down enough I've been able to open every window in the house and enjoy the breeze. Finally managed to fix my pool filler, so the thing is completely topped up to the brim for the first time in a year or so.

Yes, I AM the tech goddess! <insert hysterical laughter here>

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Good morning everyone, weekend is here again which means no doubt that the workers will be having a little time to themselves, and the retired will be doing exactly what they were doing. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc...
Dog and I will be orft soon for our little walks down by the riverside, keeps him happy, and helps me to keep the old clock ticking. Nice to see that Beth still lives the life of old Riley, swimming pools? We call ours the river! (and there is no problem this year keeping it topped up!) Good on yer Beth!
I hope this finds you all well? Take care wink

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Evening all

After a couple of graves at the bottom of the garden we decided to call a halt to another attachment and, as it happens there are several cats around the neighbourhood which are happy to fill in on a temporary basis and so we don't feel the loss any more.

Are you all ready for the 'trick or treaters?'

Just heard my first firework!
