Evening all
Still sunny here and the grass is turning brown. Still it's not a bowling green and, as ever, it will recover when the weather changes. |

Hi everyone and especially Ted, good to see you back!
Since I put the bird feeder in the garden last week I can't believe how many birds are visiting. The sparrows turned on on the second day. They have had a week feasting, I can't believe how much a complete charm/flock/squadron of sparrows can eat! A pigeon turned up yesterday, to clean up the seeds that the sparrows had thrown on the ground. Tonight there was a greenfinch and a blue tit too. The big bag of bird seed won't last a fortnight, less if more birds keep turning up, so I recon I am going to have an expensive time keeping them all fed, but I think it will be worth it! I'm sure it must have been a smile. ![]() |

Wow, there is some fine, wet stuff coming down from the sky!! Not enough really to make the ground wet but must be a little bit of relief for the plants!!
Still very warm and muggy though. Certainly not enough to put paid to my walk. ![]() |

Since I put the bird feeder in the garden last week I can't believe how many birds are visiting. you are so lucky! i've put birdfood everywhere for two consecutive winters haven't seen ONE feathery little bandit take advantage of it they never seem to leave the trees two gardens down the road, I suspect the owners of using birdglue! ![]() |
