my comment about the durability of terry nappies from me circa 1940's handed on to son to use circa late 1960s must have been eco friendly ...... the instructions say they're good for 1.5 kid ![]() and so far I've only used vinegar and sunlight as bleach (allthough I must admit that as a backup I have one of these oxygen-bleach thingies in then cupboard but the idea is that it stays there ![]() sunny here but of course the forecast for the weekend is lousy ![]() |

Sorry Barek Obama I didn't see BP struggling to evade the costs of repair Your rhetoric is OTT Dam darn it as I see it the company is keen to stop the spillage & not wanting to evade payment
----------------------------------------Who cares who pays..... BP has already said they will fund the cost however long it takes The might of the US technical ability should be be given to stopping the Leak at some time in the future the pain of £/$ will come home to roost At this point we can begin the clean up BP has already said they will fund this stop waving flags and big brave words and get on with it As far as I can see from the UK US rhetoric is concerned with pointing fingers to blame some one Bugger that just get in and do the clear up costs will be covered by BP at the end of the day Priority Number One for sure is to stop the Leak In the remit Skill base---of BP over and above this the US Government must take the steps needed to protect the coastline of the low marsh area Funded by BP BP will pay...... They have consistantlty declared their intent to do what ever it takes point your efforts to stopping the oil flow stop the verbal attack and believe that the company is doing its best ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Jun 16, 2010 5:46:24 PM] |

Evening all
Sunny here too and gradually warming up a bit. It even tempted me to do some work in the garden. |

the might of the US technical ability should be be given to stopping the Leak while I think the US should keep a close eye on BP (after all they did avoid all the necessary tests of the deepwater horizon before it became active and should have had a plan B) i've got to say it's completely beyond me how the US administration can't seem to do more to control this...two belgian companies are world leader in operating ships that can help with the clean up, BUT despite having offered to help they're not allowed because of some arcane US law dictating that ships operating in US waters should both be US built and owned! ludicrous!! |

...or forecast so far is ok jealous...i'm SO looking forward to the first BBQ opportunity of the year on another note, it looks like our next prime minister will be the first in about 150 years who cannot speak flemish buttt as seen in his attempt at an international press conference today he can't speak english either so we shouldn't be too worried ![]() |

Phew ....! Very warm and very sunny! (Not that I'm complaining of course - but better get the ironing done before it gets much hotter!)
