...how environmentally friendly, re-useable nappies and not disposable ones! i'm doing my best  for now it seems to work my mother and mother-in-law have declared me officially certifiable  Where is the fun in ones relatives thinking one is sane  |

Evening all
Good on you - think of all the land fill being taken up with disposable ones. In the long past of history when my kids were babes proper Harrington nappies were de rigour. The toughest regime I've seen was when visiting friends in a small town in Bavaria where the local authority would not collect rubbish if it contained disposable nappies, Instead, they offered a free laundry service for reusable ones. |

Instead, they offered a free laundry service for reusable ones. here you can have all kinds of premiums and stuff to encourage reusable ones but it's really the thought of all that landfill that haunted me into trying reusable ones :) that free laundry service sounds good too the sun works miracles by the way, after an hour they were all bleached   too bad one hour of sun is about the average for an entire belgian summer i've tried time and time again to explain to my mother (haven't even bothered with the in-laws ) that there are way better reusable nappies than when I was a baby (she remembers the day she was able to switch to disposable ones as one of the happiest in her life )buttt I guess she'll have to be forced to see it's great |

I think the extra effort means I would use disposable ones. Not that I am am expert, more a lazy bugger who would look for a good excuse. |
