Re: Normal service for summer

I Dont think gun laws need amending Knee jerk results dont help
the guy was disturbed cant legislate for that

No but without a gun he could not have killed so many innocent peeps - a deranged man running amok with a knife can be overpowered, but with a high powered rifle he was invincible. Good job he killed himself.

oops, sorry didn't mean that to sound as bullish as that.........

I see no reason for ordinary citizens to be able to obtain hardware with which to kill.

And the Sport argument doesn't wash with me either tongue

..............

fantastic day - tomatoes are racing up their canes :D

tend to agree with that Janet
My point is the politicos jumping on the band wagon to save us

Re: Re:

Hi all,

The good news is I have a new laptop. Yayy! I have loads of things to install on the new laptop and data to restore, but at least I am back on-line.

applause kewl

Windows 7 is funky!

Called 'PC Doctor' out to see if they could get my old desktop PC to work and the data back. Yes, they could, but at the price of almost buying another laptop. sad

Had a bash at doing it myself, thought I had really messed it up, but finally I have a dump of the data on it sorted! should be able to move that over to new laptop. Yayy! laughing

I suspect I will never get it get old desktop back to how it was so will have to figure out how to do a proper clean install of XP. On the bright side that won't really matter and the lack of other software may make it crunch faster. cool

at least I know what I will be doing tomorrow! ain't modern technology wonderful! cool

Any news on Ted? How's he getting on? confused

Mornin' all

Just had the UK summer - 'three hot days and a thunderstorm' so I expect autumn to be just round the corner.
