Evening all

Sunny all day and temperature soaring with more promised for the next couple of days or so.

Half term visit from daughter No 1 tomorrow which stirred me to clear a bit of the debris and Conker tree blossom which has been covering the pathway.

The hard frost has clearly been like a flu injection for the tree as all sign of the illness of recent years has gone and now it's going mad with pleasure.

don't worry it's just undergoing maintenance

Another cloudless day down here so it was pretty warm by nine when I started my walk to the supermarket.

Forecast also good for tomorrow, which is just as well as gardening boss lady has decreed that every Saturday morning is a gardening morning until the beginning of August when the second of the two RHS inspections takes place in the London and then England Urban Village in Bloom competition takes place.

I hope it doesn't get as serious as the all England Village in Bloom seems to have done with the past winner finding sabotage arriving with flower beds being poisoned.
