Morning
. Very warm this morning and sun streaming through the window! It is interesting how much the weather varies from further north to down south in this 'small' island of ours! ![]() |

Good morning everyone
---------------------------------------- Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was pretty good. My son even took me out to dinner which surprised me. He hasn't had much to say to me since November. Y'all have a great day. ![]()

Evening all
Am I alone in thinking Wallander (original version) is the best cop show by far currently? With news stories of violence in Bangkok this morning I was a bit concerned but had a phone call from Daughter No1 a short time ago to say that their promised flight left as promised and they had a good journey home to reflect how lucky they were to finally spend just another week in a decent hotel, the cost of which should be refunded. |

But then, I'm a guy who has no real interest in soccer and only really likes proper cricket, not knock about 20 over stuff with pop music. So, there's no real hope for me!

Since it is already Saturday, I can now say:
Happy Birthday Merle! I'm quite enjoying Ashes to Ashes, but that doesn't qualify as a proper police show me thinks. |
