A quiet Bank Holiday (ie I didn't bother my account) with pleasant weather.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Had a great day - warm and pleasant. Friend came over for the day and we went to Wisley! smile biggrin It is full of colour now and everything coming out in flower at long last! Lots of other people had the same idea too - you should have seen the car park!! However, once you get in there all the the people spread out and it doesn't feel crowded at all. wink cool Finished off the day with a lovely Chinese meal and a bottle of vino! biggrin cool I vote we have a few more Bank Holidays! wink

Evening all

Sunny day here too. I now start to avoid all news related television for the next month. If you don't know how you're going to vote are you really likely to be persuaded by all the muck throwing and counter allegations that will be floating in the ether?

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Forget Clouds Hill Cottage....Tank Museum is only 3 miles down the road!

I didn't forget it, but the car park was full when I arrived so I carried on driving (past the tank museum devilish )and eventually ended up on Weymouth beach having a very nice rum and raison ice cream. cool

I agree with Merle, we need more bank holidays and I'll vote for that! biggrin
