Watched the youtube vid about Smart cars crashing also some showing trick driving these had been given a new uprated power plant .Quite impressive Just looking at them frightens me tho.
----------------------------------------I have also been overtaken by one on the Motorway/Freeway at 70 + They are just a Cube with a wheel at each corner seem quite tall in relation to wheelbase I would feel a bit unsafe in one, I have seen larger domestic fridges ......... I like my big lump of the Vectra sitting fair & square on nice solid tyres soaking up the lumps and bumps on our roads . I made a mistake over the past couple of days in not filling the tank up before the extra tax went on. I was paying £1.14 ltr early this week for diesel I think that converts to something like £5.70 an imperial gallon 8.70 US$ in round figures . looking at that It seems I will squander my pension increase on 1/2 gallon of diesel ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Apr 2, 2010 10:40:56 AM] |

Evening all
Weather better than expected with a fine morning so my weekly walk to the supermarket didn't need the brolly I had with me. So it was a pleasant stroll with very little traffic about and nothing open until I reached Sainsbury's where it was just like any other Friday. Bought a small box of Baklava rather than an Easter egg and we had a sample after lunch - delicious. No holiday weekend from the Gardening Boss Lady so it's the usual first Saturday call for tomorrow as she tries to gear us up to our task of competing in the all England finals this year. |
