----------------------------------------Plenty of things to do At the moment drying to transfer all of my Slides of motrsport Bikes cars and planes as some are 45 +years old the emulsion is starting to fail . I have a slide scanner but win 8 doesn't like it I will have to connect to an older 'putor running vista or win 7 system ....... |

I hate Windows 8. That's what they gave me at work even though I told them not to bring me a 'puter without 7. I actually have to unplug it at least once a week to clear up issues and even then there are problems that pop up that unplugging won't fix. The IT guy is so hung up on 8 he won't admit it has problems and deficiencies and refuses to install the 8.1 patch. Windows 8 has got to be the second worst OS ever written. I'm seriously considering taking one of my 8 core Dells to work and using it.

My IT friend thinks the problem is win 8 not reading the scanner correctly I'll keep you posted

2 questions for you Den. Does your friend know anything about teamviewer? If so, give him my email addy, having a problem and their tech guys aren't being any help.
