Re: .Arks R Us

I have a '91 sportster that is wide glide from the neck forward. The tank is from an older Dyna as well. You can see pics on my Facebook page. I really enjoy it, it doesn't look or ride like a sportster. I like watching people walk around it and scratch their heads trying to figure out what it is.

Re: .Arks R Us

had to smile at that ..... park your bike here in Uk and you get a couple of reactions:
1/ the passer by thinks your a bad assed Hells Angel never mind that helmet off your clearly an elderly bloke that needs the prop stand to park the bike .then the older guy that used to have one of those pops up ....... not .
Typically we stopped for a comfort break in a small village the ladies had gone to powder their noses or what ever . My new found friend had been looking at my bike a BMW R100 just a few years ago, the same old, same old tale that he used to be a biker .....

Ladies returned
friendly chappie said to me maybe one day you will be able to get a car !!!!
cheeky bugger I had a Rover V8 at home that would have blown his basic ford into the weed's my Beem cost more than his utility ford escort nice and shiney with a new reg plate but I excepted the pat on the head and moved on

Re: .Arks R Us

LOL. Yet another likeness comes out, gotta have my V8, but I guess you noticed that when you looked at my pics. My GT isn't run of the mill either. Wrong engine was put in at the factory, it was supposed to be in a state police car. cool Instead of the standard 225hp it has 340. The rear gear is the highest available also, for interstate pursuits. Dealer called me 2 weeks after I bought it checking serial numbers, when I found out what they were looking for, told them they weren't getting it back. He said Ford was just trying to figure out where the drivetrain went. biggrin

Re: .Arks R Us

Good morning everyone.
Well, last week I replaced 4 quads with 3 octo core machines. Next week I'll be replacing 2 quads and a dual with 2 octos. That'll be about all the upgrading I can do for a while. Sure would be nice if these octos would hyperthread.
Too bad I can't use the computers at work, although considering how much trouble I have out of Windows 8 on my work machine, it probably wouldn't get much crunching done.
I told that idiot IT guy not to give me an 8 machine. Gets much worse I might just take one of my octos to work and use my own machine. I only use Windows 7 and it's never a problem.

Y'all have a great day. smile
