Den, nice pic of the Mallard (circa 1938). I've been doing some train spotting in Dawlish, Euxton and Bishops Lydeard. Steam trains will always be my favorite.

Alan, nice train layout you have. Working on getting mine out again. Don't have room for a nice layout like that though, I'm gonna have to put mine on a shelf that will run around the room.

Got into RC cars about 20 years ago. Still have mine but havn't had it out in almost that long. Boats are nice but nowhere around here to enjoy one, wanted to get a plane but got into computers instead. smile

now for something completely different
This evening our prostate support group is having its christmas meal. its going to be a Jacobs Join. does any one know where this originates from .If you are not sure what a Jacobs Join is do you have another name for it?. Around here in NW Lancashire its when you come to a group meal bearing food to share..........
I have a feeling that has a biblical connection but cannot put a positive answer to it ??????
anyway we have a wonderful italian lady wife of a group member who comes with wunnerful home baked Italian nosh.....yummy stuff
