Morning all.
Real odd happening last night .I live about 250 yards from the main west coast line, Putting out the rubbish around 20.00hrs I heard the sound of a steamer trotting along at a fair rate of knots B****r If I knew it was coming through I could have gone and viewed it what ever it was.
It could have been heading back home to Carnforth shed where there are often Staniers in Steam . Sadly " Steam Town " no longer exists so no public access.You can see into the site fro the car park of the railway club look at the old BR slam door rolling stock and what ever engines.

Found in a damp corner yesterday while I was working in the Garden.
Just like when on major road building projects a Newt, Frog, Toad or three toed Sloth is discovered work is stopped, before Swampy and his band of traveling protesters descend and build tree houses or dig tunnels .
I withdrew and gave myself a long cool one

PS I was just wondering Is 18" about average for this species ???
