Had to Larf At that abduction tale on a night shift .
Some years ago I was writing my log up at the end of the shift Found that my pen had lorst traction and drifted across the page leaving strange script that I had no control over.
I'm not sure if it was from beyond the grave or from Another world

Re: .

morning all

yep its french chalk, mostly in those repair kits it was in a solid stick that you used the tinplate grater provided to obtain the chalky lubricant . In the bike shop I worked in we had tins of it to dust the inside of the Tyre before refitting the purpose of the chalk was to smoothe the inside of the tyre reduce friction between tube & tyre I only needed to use the tyre levers to remove the tyre replacing was done with bare hands thus avoiding nipping the tube with the levers ..In a garage I worked in we slapped a soapy mixture on the tyre to ease the beast on the rim the same for motorcycle tyres where you used robust Tyre Levers .In the car garage it was clamped in device that made a tyre change a doddle .....

Re: .

morning all

Weather windy yesterday, sun came out in the evening but 'cause of the breeze it was not warm .
looks much the same as yesterday today.

This warmest day since hell froze over just doesn't cut the ice....... devilish .
