WU going nowhere?

The work unit R00307_9ac5c18e0f289ab9f310484f1f8eb8ec_01 shown at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/devi...us.do?workunitId=52945883 appears to have 32 copies of which 7 are in progress, 3 are aborted, 9 are too late and 13 are in error. The copy that my machine worked on is shown as too late for no obvious reason, but the other errors suggest that something is wrong with this unit or the way it is being handled. Please investigate.

Re: WU going nowhere?

My Guess is that if any of the 7 in progress is returned without error, the other 9 "too late" will convert to valid, but could also end up in inconclusive. Time will tell.

We cannot see the quorum detail, just the header in your link so have to ask you to copy / paste it, though I see for the moment no gain until the next result comes back.

Re: WU going nowhere?

OK - you're correct. All the "too late" entries have now disappeared. It shows 13 in error, 3 in progress, 2 invalid, 4 aborted and 10 (the quorum) valid responses -- including mine.

I should have waited longer, but the "Too late" really bugged me and the numbers were much higher than the initial 19 WUs sent out. To be honest, I'm surprised that this seems so "flaky", but now I know not to worry.

Thanks for your response.
