I notice that the number of people who have been sent the same piece of work to crunch, as indicated by the last element of the task id, is very high compared to other BOINC projects. In one case, at least 13. This seems an extraordinarily high number as on all other projects I have never seen a work unit sent out to more than 4 people.
I find it difficult to believe that at least 11 have either failed to return results, or their results are different, as surely you only need two people to return identical results ? Or are you sending out work units to too many people unnecessarily ? |
